From inception in 1936, The Harper Company’s growth can be traced to the high caliber of personnel, whose dedication and integrity still characterize the company today. Mr. William L. Harper’s keen judge of character and concern for those he employed helped to place the company into its present highly respected position in the industry. Those who have followed are driven by the same pride and work ethics that have been the defining characteristic of the company since its first day of business.
Experience
Our current management team has dedicated a combined 160 years of service to the company, all of which have “grown up” with the company. The average tenure of the current office and supervisory staff is 17 years with 65 percent of the staff having 15+ years dedicated to the success of The Harper Company. We are fortunate to have numerous highly skilled trade members return each season to add to the quality built into all projects. The Harper Company has a wealth of very talented newer employees continually adding ingenuity and ensuring our continued highly respected position in the industry.

Our mission is to be the best concrete paver in the country. Our goal is to provide an effective transportation infrastructure to fuel our nation’s economy, while offering rewarding careers to the members of our team.
